I've had success catching some Rainbow Trout this winter. We live in a community with a private lake. I can't say that I am exceptionally proud of my catches because our lake stocks trout several months out of the year. However, my fishin' buddy caught a 4 lb. trout that was a nice fish. Our picture was supposed to be published in our monthly lake magazine. Right now I am waiting for the weather to heat the lake up more so that I can start chasing bass, maybe the end of next month. Til then, God Bless and good luck fishin'.

I am planning on going to the local Bass Pro Shop, in Fontana, CA on Sunday for a free Bassmasters' University. Last year, it was $100 and I met Alton Jones, Woo Daves, Jimmy Houston, Matt Reed, Jason Quinn & Stacey King. I took a buddy of mine along who is an avid sports collector, he has met several big name athletes, and he said these Bass Pros were the nicest, most humble professional athletes, he's ever met. This year I get to see Alton Jones and Brian Snowden. The university will be much shorter and is free due to the economy. I will try to post a picture of me with Alton and Brian. Best wishes, Paul
Hi Paul, thanks for the comments and for being our first visitor to comment on our blog. I would love for you to send any pictures you may have of you with Woo or Jimmy or the guys from the Bass Masters University. We would also love to know about your fishing adventures in Southern California.
Thanks,
Stephen
